Spring Walk-in-the-Woods, 2015

This year's Spring Walk will be held on Sunday, May 17th at noon. There will be NO rain date this year. If the weather is doubtful, please check the Penn-Dutch Web Page (www.penndutch.org) after 8:00 PM on Friday or call Barb Bowes at 610-577-4988.

The location will once again be along the shores of Nockamixon Lake in Nockamixon State Park, Quakertown, PA. The lake provides a dramatic backdrop for Pyr photography. There are paved paths for the Pyrs and people alike, although some of the more intrepid Pyrs prefer to swim in the lake.

All PA state park rules apply. Dogs must be on 6 foot leashes (no Flexi-Leads) and be up-to-date on shots.

Everyone is to bring their own lunch. No food will be provided by the Club. Anyone wishing to bring a salad or dessert to share is welcome to do so.

Directions: The park entrance is located along Rt. 563 between the south intersection with Rt. 313 and the north intersection with Rt. 412. A large stone house (the park office) marks the entrance to the park. Once you are on the park road, take the first right and then bear right at the "Y" in the road. Park at the picnic area on the lake shore.
