The "Walk" will be held from Noon until 5:00 PM. Come on out for a really good time, and get together with fellow Club members and Pyr owners.
NOTE that this event is now combined with Fun Day and will include a brief Membership Meeting at 1 pm. We hope this event will be a rousing success!
Bring a picnic lunch for yourself. If you would like to bring a salad or dessert to share that would be welcome, but it is not reqired. We want to see YOU and your Pyr(s)!
All dogs should be current on shots and must be leashed, with 6 foot maximum length leashes (no Flexi-Leads).
There are signs to follow to Beltzville State Park.
From the South: Take route 476 North (the Northeast Extension of the Turnpike) (old Route 9) to exit 74. Exit 74 is the Mahoning Valley Exit. Exit on Route 209 South. Once on the exit ramp make a left turn onto Route 209 North. Immediately after going under the Route 476 overpass, make a left onto Main Rd., take the first right onto Pohopoco Dr. You will go past the entrance to the Dam before coming to the main Park entrance. The main Park entrance will be on the right. Make a right turn into the Park. Follow the arrows to pavilion #1.
From Route 309 North or South: Turn onto Route 443 East. Take 443 to the end and go straight onto Route 209 North. Go under the Route 476 overpass and follow directions above.
From Route 248: Turn onto Route 209 North and follow directions above.
From the North: Take Route 209 South to just before the Route 476 overpass. Turn Right onto Main Road and follow directions above.
From the East and West: Follow to any of the above named roads then follow
directions above to get to the Park entrance.
